New Year, New Board, New Goals.

July 26th 2023

Hello AMA South Florida Community,

It's a pleasure to introduce myself, I'm Camilo Caicedo, your new president of the AMA South Florida. This role represents a great honor for me, and I assume it with great enthusiasm, passion, and important challenges to meet.

First, I want to highlight and thank the impeccable work and achievements of Ignacio Albornoz, former president of AmaSFl.

I invite all associates to actively participate in our activities and events during the second semester of the year. Each initiative aims to provide you with exciting knowledge, services, and marketing tools so that you can strengthen your business contacts and positively impact the work of our members.

We will promote networking among associates, enrich the portfolio of international speakers, and take the AMA Awards to the next level, to recognize, highlight and encourage creativity and new proposals and perspectives in our inexhaustible universe of marketing and advertising.

Our chapter will become an increasingly relevant association and a key benchmark in the sector. Therefore, one of my main goals is to promote and position AMASFl as a multicultural, inclusive, and egalitarian community. These will be transversal principles in all our vice presidencies and their actions.

In this first communication, I want to introduce the incredible team of rockstar VPs who, thanks to their experience, will help us meet our goals: VP of Marketing, Ana Meira; Communications VP, María Loly Llanso; VP of Business Development, Robert Sanchez; Digital VP, Ignacio Albornoz; and VP Finance, Frank Dreier.

Making our new work structure visible, presenting our mission, vision, and the opportunities that arise for volunteering and collaborations is nothing more than opening the doors for more industry talents to join the AMA.

Join us, this is a call to action: let's team up, unity is strength!
